One day I woke up and my son was in his teens.
I wanted to cozy up with my morning coffee and flip through photographs to reminisce, but I had nothing. Instead of pulling out a curated album that held our precious memories, I was left anxious, endlessly scrolling through my phone. Hoping to find something that would remind me he was once smaller than me!
Even the professional photographs we'd taken had become lost between blurry every day snaps and recipe screenshots. I wish I had documented those memories over the years and preserved them the way they deserved to be.
As our little ones become not so little, they outgrow their childhood clothes and bedrooms. We only have so much time with them at each stage of their life. I don't ever want another parent to wake up and realize they have no memories to hug close.
